It
comes as a welcome surprise and delight to see and hear the music of JERUSALEMA
E NCHA. The O’JAYS are back and its as if they never left, as we see the old
grannies and granddads taking their duly authorized and earned positions in the
history of apostolic music; returning the glory of the work done by Ntate
Motaung to its rightful place in the history books.
When
I hear the voices, the sound and the precision in music, I become overwhelmed
with a true sense of musical justice as for over a decade we have been abused
by sounds claiming to be Jerusalema E Ncha but now we can marvel at the true
sound.
A
special thank you to Mme Lucky, Mme Motaung, Mme Helen, Ntate Javas and the
rest of The O’Jays for such a delight correction in musical history!
